Use of
ai.

One of my favorite lessons in this class was learning about Stitch, the new Google way to make webpages. I used Stitch to create a few pages on my site. I used Stitch AI to help me create the color page (class resources), the binary code page (class resources), and the booking page (booking). How did I do this? Well I first collected notes about what information I wanted the webpage to have. I told AI my list of my notes/list of topics so it knew what the webpage was about. I then screenshotted a page off my site to show it the theme I wanted it to be (text, color, etc.) I then regenerated it until I liked how it looked. I then had AI add useful class links on to the site, such as the HSL color picker on the color site. Lastly, I put the code from stitch into my C-panel and edited it. I edited the text on the booking and color pages, but I decided to make the binary code and bit depth page like a resources page where viewers can watch class videos to learn about the topic.

I also used Gemini to create the text theme for this site. The code is:

<div style=”font-family: ‘Inter’, sans-serif;”>
<h1 style=”
font-weight: 900;
font-size: 4rem;
text-transform: uppercase;
letter-spacing: -2px;
line-height: 0.9;
margin-bottom: 10px;”>
Color <br>
<span style=”color: #666;”>Corners.</span>
</h1>

<p style=”
font-size: 0.85rem;
font-weight: 500;
text-transform: uppercase;
letter-spacing: 3px;
color: #888;
margin: 0;”>
Still Life
</p>
</div>

This code was copied on each page and edited for the words on this page.

Lastly, I wanted to test the WordPress AI, so I had it help me with my senior picture and experience page. It create the orange boxes on the page, which helped me to organize the page, for a cohesive look.

Ai
prompts.

Prompts for the booking page:

When creating the code for the Booking page I orginally asked AI to: code me a pink themed webpage for a photography site that talks about booking photoshoots for senior pictures, portraits, events, etc. add cute photography graphics as well” I did not like the result but I was determined. I then asked AI to do things like “”remove information under our philosophy (no footer needed)” and make the font on this page the same font as the style image and make it have the same pink background” (this was after I provided a screenshoot of my webpage). After 12 generations of asking the AI to add and delete things, I got the site where I liked it.

 These multiple generations occured for all of the AI created pages. If I was using AI, it had to be good AI. The best was to get good AI is many generations.

Prompts for the color page:

When creating the color page, I clicked on the page I made for booking so that it would use the style I used on the booking page. After this, I asked Stitch to code me a page about color schemes (complementary, analogous, etc) and HTML color” It did not get right the first time so I then asked it to do things like “include color wheel and make complementary and analogous colors traditional (example: orange and blue are complementary)” I also asked it to add the link to to the HSL color picker. This page took 11 generations too get it how I liked.

Prompts for the binary code and bit depth page:

To make the binary code and bit depth page I asked AI to using this style make a page about binary and bit depth and add these links: https://www.cambridgeincolour.com/tutorials/bit-depth.htm#google_vignette and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xpk67YzOn5w“. I then had AI do things like “delete header and footer” and “make resources be all on one line” This page took 7 generations

For the Gemini text generation I kept it simple. I asked it to “code me a bold font for a page about photography.” I did this simple generation 3 times until I liked the result that I got. For the WordPress organization boxes, I asked it to create a template for a page about experience and a page about senior pictures. I did not like the rest of the page that it generated, so I only kept the orange organizational boxes. The rest of the page I created myself.

Ai
citations.

Use of AI is cited as visual works as the website pages serve as visual elements for website:

*Stitch and WordPress would not let me access the exact dates where the AI was used, but those pages were all created in April 2026
