Change.

I am a sustainability studies major at Roger Williams University, so I am deeply concerned about the effects of climate change and global warming. This project was meant to bring awareness to the negative effects of climate change, while also combining my interests of photography and sustainability.

The name of the photo is “Thrown Away into the Warmth.”The globe is broken, illustrating that our planet is breaking apart. It is breaking because of climate change. Trash surrounds the globe because our planet has excessive amounts of trash. Trash is destroying the beautiful place we call home. Someday our planet will be full of trash. The globe is orange in this picture because it symbolizes global warming. Someday, our world will be too hot to live in. Trash will thrive, while life will die. It won an award at a Climate Change show in Dalton, MA.
